Management of human talent is essential to achieve our strategic objectives. Therefore, we standardized and improved the Quality of Life program in the Organization, which aims for the balance and wellbeing of all employees, focusing our actions on creating, maintaining and improving conditions that foster the comprehensive development of our employees and their family group, in order to contribute to the progress of the Organizational goals and expansion of new businesses.

Our Quality of Life program seeks the balance and wellbeing of employees, focusing our actions on creating, maintaining and improving the conditions that foster the comprehensive development of them and of their family group. The program is designed under the following dimensions:

Occupational Health and Safety

Occupational Health and Safety is essential for the sustainability of the business. Therefore, we have started the journey to strengthen the culture of care with the “Yo Elijo Cuidarme (I Choose to Look after Myself)” strategy focused on making safety a lifestyle, so that each employee has as a line of action: “I look after myself, I look after you and we look after ourselves to arrive home safe and sound, transferring these habits to work, personal and family life.”

The Management System not only focuses on fulfilling the legal requirements of the countries where we operate, but also allows us to progress by executing action plans that ensure adequate conditions for the development of safe work. This helps us to prevent risks from materializing and affecting the health of employees and contractors.
Our goal is to reach cero fatalities and reduce our LTIFR & LTISR in 10% in workers and contractors by 2021.

Stakeholder relations, specifically with the communities in our areas of influence, are essential for the Company, because they help us to establish two-way-communication with respect and transparency.

In accordance with the Social Policy, we implemented the relations strategy. This aims to guide our actions based on principles of respect, transparency, trust and mutual growth with our stakeholders. These relations are the responsibility of the Organization’s Socioenvironmental Team and the foundations’ teams.

Through social management, we contribute to the Organization’s goals, because we promote opportunities for participation and inclusion strategies in all our operations. Additionally, social management facilitates the development of processes and actions designed to prevent risks that could affect operations and stakeholder relations.


This is how we develop our social investment

These investments are implemented through the following lines of action:

  • Community development: Improvement of skills and abilities in the communities, which allows them to strengthen their role in the area, and support the consolidation of production units in line with the regions’ vocations.
  • Improving quality of life: Execution of projects to improve quality of life through the construction of community infrastructure, and holding cultural, sports and recreational events that promote neighborliness.
  • Access to electricity: Development of activities that provide access to electricity and efficient energy use in communities in our areas of influence through the expansion of grids, new electricity connections, alternative energy, and management of state funds.
  • Promoting education: Actions to improve the quality of education, including issues of educational infrastructure, teaching reinforcement, environmental education and innovation.
